What Data is Deleted?

When an account is deleted, we execute a cascading purge from our database and storage buckets. The following information is permanently destroyed and cannot be recovered:

  • Meta OAuth Access Tokens & Permissions
  • Linked Instagram Account Identifiers
  • All Uploaded Photos, Videos & Reels
  • Custom Scheduled Post Records & Queue
  • Historical AI Caption Remix Logs
  • Profile Details & Billing History

Revoking Permissions via Facebook

Alternatively, you can revoke Ghostal's access to your Instagram account directly from your Facebook settings:

  1. Go to your Facebook Account settings page.
  2. Click on Business Integrations.
  3. Find Ghostal in the list and click Remove.

When you remove the app through Facebook, Meta automatically triggers our data deletion callback and all your data is erased from our servers within minutes.
